The TE situation is a good point but Stevens is a blocking TE , Cook runs one correct route in three and whoever the other guy is , hasn't had a sniff bar that one TD pass he snaffled against the Ravens. Oh , to have a Daniels or a Dallas Clarke , that would help in spades.

I'm all for Ringer being the RB for now and splitting Johnson out wide in order to try and empty the box. They have to account for him wherever he goes. If he gets in space and isn't having to rely on the line to open gaps , he's still gone.

I think if Avery plays well and Williams gets consistent then we have three solid WR's with Washington/Avery/Williams.If CJ can get back into his groove and those WR's can step up we will be alright on offense.Time for the running game to get back on track.

I think we're kind of screwed if Avery doesn't show up, Cook doesn't wake up from the coma he's been in his whole life and if D. Williams doesn't start running the correct routes.

We all wished we had a good quarterback and now that we have one we can't get the runing backs to gain a yard or the receivers to catch a damn ball.

Are you positive that it was ever really the quarterback.....or just the lack of talent around him in general?

If the run game simply doesn't exist, why not do everything in your power to bulk up the passing game? Football 101, munchak. It's that simple.

Before this year we had a QB and his name was Kerry Collins. This player was horrible here and we led the league in worst time of possession and usually had a healthy amount of three plays and out with a punt.Oh and he did have the best running back in the league behind him at the time his name was Chris Johnson. As far as receivers this team has always sucked at WR or had good players at that position that ended up hurt.

Exactly!!! Thats why i'm pissed because instead of bringing in a damn receiver the front office thinks everything is fine.Hasselbeck was throwing over 300 yards a game when we had Britt before he got hurt so the logical thing to do is go get another receiver so we can compete for the division. But the front office refuses to do anything. There are times when you wonder what they are thinking because it doesn't make sense why they don't bring in a WR.

Football is rigged. I don't actually believe that but it seems that way sometimes. Look at the Colts and the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.

They are lucky. They'll go from Manning right into Luck and not skip a beat. They might've sucked this season but they will have 10 or 15 more years of solid production.
