More praise for Mariota from around the league

Wait was it Mett that got everyone together and practiced last offseason? Yes, So he did get a lot of time trying to correct it but guess what he got even worse than the first year.

 

Wrong. He went and played catch. They didn't know what lame offense they were gonna run. Not the same

 

No its that they want the core to stay together. They change qbs, coaches and systems every year. They just were standing up for thier guy. But, if they really want mett over mm now, they aren't watching film from the same games everyone else is. Mm is clearly superior and has now proven it. Idt they'll stand behind mett anymore.

 

Mett has had 10 games with the starters and didn't get any better. That's 10 weeks of practices where he got all the 1st team reps. I know your next arguement will be that the coaching staff put an offense together for Mariota. That isn't true either. Any coaching staff is going to try to put in what works best for the starter they have on the field.

As I mentioned before, Mett fits the style of Qb who should have shined in Whiz's scheme. Yes, the Oline played poorly. They played poorly for Mariota too, but he played much better than Mett when he was on the field. Brady had no reps with the 1st team when he stepped in for Bledsoe, but that didn't stop him from taking the Patriots to the Super Bowl.

 

Mariota 8 fumbles in 370 pass attempts.
Mett 8 fumbles in 345 pass attempts.
Young's rookie season 12 fumbles in 357 passing attempts.
I wonder why no one brings up that Mett fumbles too much or VY fumbled too much?

Lol, just pointing out the facts.

 

One of the big criticism I had of.Mett following his rookie year was fumbles, and.mett was playing behind a worse o line than mary even had when mett was a rook.

Didn't say they were, but your arguement that Mett didn't play as well as Mariota because he didn't get 1st team reps doesn't hold water. Brady outplayed Bledsoe when he got the opportunity and never let go of the job.
