More Second And Third Round Picks Becoming Successful At QB Position

    Agree. Just don't think he will be, he is good no doubt but he has one of the best ds and one of the best run games. He will never be, imo, in the manning, brady, brees or rodgers class.

    While they may never be great, I think people dont appreciate how a QB can cost a great team. Cant fault someone for succeeding with a stout team.

    The argument is true, that the top Qbs are stuck with the worst teams.. but I do have no doubt that Dalton,Wilson, and Kaepernick are better than Gabbert, Ponder, and probably Locker as well. But it's just luck of the draw.

    Outside of those few years, it's not really often that the later picks dwarf the first rd picks at QB.

    That's because first round is obsessed with measurables, which is not a predictor of QB success.
