Find a way to get Taylor the ball every game. Dude is lightning
I was hoping this guy would be that electric speedster this offense sorely needed. So far he is exceeding my expectations for only running a 4.5 at the combine.
I read this thread title as 'More Taylor Lewan & Less Eric Decker in Slot"
Still cool with it.
Love TT's potential. We haven't even seen his strengths yet, IMO, which are his ability to create separation in short and intermediate routes with his route running and quickness in and out of breaks. Just look at the plays below, and how he was able to create separation in such limited space. The competition is obviously lower, but it is difficult for NFL CBs to keep up with that quickness and route running acumen in pursuit as well, just as it is with his speed. I think he can be a safety blanket like Cole Beasley for Dak, since he should get open more often that not.
Taywan brings much needed speed at wide out, look at that burst smoked Aj Bouye http://www.titansonline.com/video/v...eception/c25a86c7-f376-4951-a839-2dc8809347e5
Not shocking to me. Knew this kid was going to be special.
Kid's going to contribute for a long time. Need to find ways to get him the ball. If that means less Decker, I'm down.
It will be a matter of time. Depends how quickly he learns the offense.
His plays should increase as the season goes...
that was a disappointING time for him. he was pegged to run around 4.4. but he did post the fastest 3 cone time at the v
Yea this is one example of not reading to much into a 40. He legit has looked like the fastest player on the field over our 2 games. I smile everytime we use him as a decoy to sprint across the line of scrimmage because defenses have to respect his speed. We've never had that in a wr.
