More understanding of Fumble metric stat.

Simple question, the IQ at my work is super low;


is there any institance where a QB fumbles the ball beacause of a bad snap? If so, please explain how? If it does, does that fumble count on a QB or center? I know you to have posseession but theres real rules to it.

Like for example; Mariota has 19 fumbles in 2 years, but obviously not all those fumbles were recovered by the defense, I just wondered on majority of those what were the causes?

Help me understand this. Thanks.
