Some people have aspirations, to live before they die, etc. I'm sure his opinion has changed a bit since the accident... that sucks.

My Aunt and Uncle were messed up bad after a bike accident. She just recently can put sentences together like an adult again. She spoke like a 7 year old for about 2 years. Scary stuff.

There's nothing logical about anything you said back there, that is, unless, you are arguing under the constant that everyone is a douche bag. I like riding bikes but I love my wife more and I really would rather not deal with the fallout of causing her needless anxiety. So go ahead and tell me that I've settled and am selfish.

for what it's worth I'd the sell the damn thing for $1000 and re-up my Titans tickets in a heartbeat.

Had an 04 cbr 600rr. bought it new, have since sold it when I went back to school, loved it though and will get another as soon as I'm done.

Can I just say "lighten up" instead? I swear you guys take life too seriously and watch too many romance films or something.

Heaven forbid we act on instinct and instead go with what we're taught by some silly book.
