I've heard many people say the same thing. I preferred Casino Royale to it, as far as Daniel Craig Bond movies go.

I had a long argument with my friend about Casino Royale being the best one. He said it was the worst Bond of all time and that all they did was play poker for 2 hours.

As far as the Craig Bond movies go... Casino Royale > Skyfall > Quantum of Solace (which I thought sucked).

I felt like Skyfall had the potential to top Casino Royale, but something was missing.

I liked it more when he took his teeth out.



Only part of royale I liked was when he got poisoned and that whole defib scene happened. Rest boring as hell.

I think Skyfall suffered from being hyped as being so good that I was expecting something better than what is a very good movie.

I did really like Skyfall but I kinda felt the same way. It had a classic villain. A classic Bond theme/intro. Lots of great action. But something about it just kinda missed the mark. I can't really put my finger on it. Maybe it was just all the hype/expectations as Gunny said.

But again, I did really enjoy it.

Yeah, it's a good movie. One of the tops of the year for sure. I found Casino Royale better though.

Casino Royale had a subtle greatness to it. As far as prequels go, it was done perfectly.

Seven Psychopaths was pretty great.

A good follow up to In Bruges

Great cast, total snoozer..
