Give it some time. We had a bad coach in Andy Mac. Coach Stockstill is know fixing the problem.
We started a true freshman at QB, starting QB was hurt
    True frosh at RT
At least 2 true frosh were starting in the secondary
All in all, 13 true frosh are seeing significant playing time.
Getting valuable experiance. If we are still having problems in 2010, 2011, then I'll say it was a bad idea.
That sad, fan support hasn't been great. Not one sellout. In 10 years of having a 31,000 seat stadium, not once has it top even 30,000.
That's sad. And tickets are cheap, compared to UTK.

Until they are competitive against name competition, there are too many better options for football fans in the area.

Vandy??? Come on. They might go to a bowl this year. For the first time in over 20 years. Or is it 25? Vandy's starting lineup and impact players are all upperclassmen. Experiance. That breeds sucess.
TSU? I don't see LP packed for their game against Austin Peay

Sure there is UTK (2 hours east) but even UTK has stunk it up lately.

UTK is the only consistent viable option
In 2 years, Can we say that Bobby Johnson has led them to 2 bowl

MTSU lacks experiance. I can not emphsize enough how much Andy Mac messed up MTSU. We will still see his impact in 2010 because of lost schollys. Give it time
FSU wasn't built in a day, neither was Rome

    Options to MTSU:

    1. Titans
    2. Tennessee
    3. Vandy

Despite being thumped most every Saturday for years, I'd rather watch SEC football than the watered down stuff we get from MTSU right now. They nearly won me over in a couple of games I saw them play against Vandy but continue to take two steps back for every step forward they make.

I'll give you the Titans. I'll be nice and give you the Vols
But Vandy (except this year) has proven 3 times a lesser opponent than MTSU.
Give MTSU 5 years to get on the right track.
The only reason Vandy is any more attractive is that they play SEC opponents at home. While MTSU plays SBC teams.
Note that SBC rival troy beat Ok State
    Note that FAU beat Minnesota
We play Memphis and Virginia(at home).
For the price of a ticket to a Titans game, you almost can get season tickets to a MTSU game.
Next year, buy season tickets. Get 2. Trust me. You won't regret it.

You can see Vandy get clobbered or see MTSU win?

Well, since MTSU isn't winning, that narrows it down a bit.

MTSU is in a rebuilding year. You know, what Vandy has been doing for the last 20 years. :grrhee:
