Sharpe is 5th in rookies for recs and yards, obviously 0 tds. Considering the rookie WRs ahead of him were 1st/2nd rounders and the #1 or #2 on their teams, I think he's where he should be for s 5th rounder. Plus he's not far behind Shepard who was considered a top contributor for NYG.
I think the problem with Sharpe is he's not living up to his preseason hype. High expectations from a few, myself included.

    Receptions
    1. Michael Thomas WR, New Orleans Saints – 42
    2. Sterling Shepard WR, New York Giants – 32

    4. Will Fuller WR, Houston Texans – 25
    5. Tajae Sharpe WR, Tennessee Titans – 25
    6. Hunter Henry TE, San Diego Chargers – 20
    7. Josh Ferguson RB, Indianapolis Colts – 19
    8. Jordan Howard RB, Chicago Bears – 18
    9. Ricardo Louis WR, Cleveland Browns – 16
    10. Jalen Richard RB, Oakland Raiders – 15

    Receiving Yards

    2. Will Fuller WR, Houston Texans – 382
    3. Sterling Shepard WR, New York Giants – 334
    4. Hunter Henry TE, San Diego Chargers – 329
    5. Tajae Sharpe WR, Tennessee Titans – 286

Someday people will learn that preseason is just vanilla. No one wants to get injured, and playing against other rookies makes you look good at times. It's just one step better than practice against your own team. Sharpe has potential, and good hands. He will learn. We did good on that pick.

Also, he's comparable to Tyler Boyd, someone that was mentioned on here predraft and was taken in the 2nd. Is Boyd contributing on ST as well though?

    just noticed a concerning stat

despite being 3-5 san diego has outscored their opponents by +30

meanwhile were at 4-4 and are at -1 (titans and texans only winning teams with less combined points than anyone in the AFC)

SD should not be taken lightly, they score a ton of points, and we dont....

Well, our scoring has seen an uptick lately. The 1st 3 or 4 games bring that average down, but don't reflect where we currently are as on offense.

That being said, I am very worried about this game

Chargers have scored 31 or more points in five out of eight games
Titans have scored more than 31 points once all year.

    This is cause for concern.
