I think we could upgrade all 3 interior OL positions. I would go hard in FA after the best 2 G's and C. Take 2 of the 3 from FA. Then which ever we don't get we try to get in rounds 2-3 of the draft. Velasco/Lutui can be depth. They would make pretty good backups. Dump Amano and Harris, they make too much money

I would consider it asinine to keep Amano. It would be truly baffling if they decide to keep him. especially at the price his contract demands!

I dont think anyone actually believed EA was hurt this year. It was his retirement year.

Now he might be like some X-Titans and fool someone into giving him another signing bonus but I doubt he ever has a meaningful snap again

Worst case = Eugene Amano is our starting center next year. Nooooo!

Best case = We move forward and get a long term solution to the center of our O Line. Thru the draft or free agency, we need a horse who can lead by example and will be on the field for a long time. The best lines we ever had worked well together as a unit. The word ANCHOR comes to mind. This is where we need to start.

Well considering it really looks like about three QBs that were drafted after him are better I'd say earth. Oh, all three are playing this weekend.
