I like to blame Fisher when it rains, but it's C.J.'s fault if you ask me.

He's a fool for declaring himself the best player in the league, even if it was true or not. All that does it motivate players to shut him up. Puts a spotlight on him too. Some of his best plays all came when the team was looking the other way. That's how Forte, and Foster do so well, they stay quiet and bust one open on people.

 

Let me refraise that, I blame fisher for cjs drop in speed and explosion, I blame CJ for being and egotistical *** and bringing attention to him and not showing up. None of those things helped his situation.

CJs decline started when he started seeing the stacked box, his ability is a decline from excessive carries in such a short time. That part is also on him too because he has been noted to have continually asked for the ball.

 

He didn't have too many carries this past off-season and didn't take too many big hits. With a full off-season and time to rest he should be back to form. Maybe he'll come in at 4.30. Still faster than all the other RB's in the league.

I want to see his short game improve. What I consider a RB's short game is their ability to maximize yardage when there's no holes. He need to have better vision and burst so that he's falling forward and picking up 3-4 instead of no gains or 1 yd.

It's an art.
