I would like to see us go back to a bigger back. I'm tired of the dancing, stalling, -1, +2, stopped in his tracks yards, and eventually a long run. I would like to see the Titans go back to having a bigger back that can drag a defensive player with him for 3 yards and falls forward for another yard or two. I would take a more consistent 5 or 7 ypc with a bigger back anyday rather than CJ.

there isn't a runningback in the league that can do this. be realistic. Besides Lynch and Jacobs power runningbacks are nearly extinct. And honestly Jacobs and Lynch are ONLY successful because of the speed they bring to the table with their power. I hate when coaches draft fat runningbacks who don't have NFL speed and think they should get goal line carries (Jamie Harper, Shonn Greene, Lendale White, etc)..

Redman, mendenhall, MJD, Turner, peterson is a power back with awesome speed. Anyone pushing after initial contact I'd consider power backs. Running thru the tackles. Head on pushing the pile. Yes speed is important, but sometimes 3 hard nosed yards is alot more important than a cutback lane that might take it to the house. the scat back has a role but they havnt taken over.
