The Titans haven’t been able to run the football with any consistency in recent weeks, but Titans Coach Mike Munchak isn’t ready to point fingers.

    Or make changes.

That includes the center position, where some fans are already clamoring for Brian Schwenke, the team’s fourth-round pick. Munchak said veteran Rob Turner is playing well.

“The problem with the inside deal is it’s not a one-man show,’’ Munchak said. “(Rob) has been solid. They can all be a lot better as an offensive line. We’re not playing nearly as well as we hope we will be at some point this season. We have played well in spurts. … But it is never just Rob Turner’s fault.

“To change someone is not necessarily going to be the answer at this point.”

It seems that the line has regressed since Greene went down. Perhaps it isn't just the line?

Stewart needs to go. RT in 2nd or 4th round. Roos should still be fine for another season.

Maybe we should do something other than run up the middle in a single back set. Opposing LB's are in the backfield almost the same time CJ gets the ball.

"Munchak said veteran Rob Turner is playing well."

I guess if the Hall of Fame OL and Head Coach says so, then he must be right. :bs:

Big Country will be a cap casualty. His play has fallen off to the point to where it doesn't warrant his salary. At least this way we'll have a bit more room to work with under the cap.

Stewart continues to play with the bad calf and I just dont see how you can be effective as a monster O lineman with a calf injury.

I really wonder why they have not had him sit longer...
