Rumor Munchak thinks he's gone

@nittanyrich: Kerry Collins on Mike Munchak: "He has a great football mind. He has ties to Penn State and a great affinity for Penn State. I think with the way he carries himself and the way he loves Penn State, I think it would be an outstanding fit."

 

Reports are saying Munchak is one of 3 finalist for the Penn State job along with Jim Caldwell and Al Golden, although they are saying on the forums, Golden is unlikely. Coach Mike Munchak still in limbo with the #Titans. Discussions continue in-house, but no decision made and could still go either way. Munchak could still return for final yr of contract, but can't see any scenario where he'd be given an extension to prevent lame-duck status. I also believe he'll have to make changes on staff to remain. If sides don't see eye-to-eye on issues, it could still lead to split #Titans



The fact that Wyatt says an extension won't happen and Tommy Smith said lame duck status would be a concern, leads me to still believe he's gone.

 

Exactly, which means a split is likely IMO
