That is true. I remember now he signed it a few days in, then he had to wait like 3 days more or something before he could start practicing.

 

Same with Locker in 2010

That would make 3 straight years the Titans couldn't agree with our first rounder by the start of camp. Wtf is up.

Young's contract was five years with another option year.

These first round picks under the new CBA are a standardized four-year deal with a team option for a fifth. If you cut a first round pick before his fourth year with the amount of money these guys are getting now compared to ten years ago, it was a catastrophic selection.

 

I read everyone was expecting Wright to hold out last year. The Bucs screwed up th year before when they have Adrian Clayborne(same slot Wright was selected) a fully guaranteed contract when the guys selected before and after him didn't get 100% guarantees.
