The entire team and its fanbase would need Dr. Phil if we had to deal with further VY related BS.
Because you are in love with Vince Young you lie to yourself about the negative impact he would have on this team moving forward. Fortunately, the team itself wised up just in time.

yes, any QB that signs with the Titans will be a better QB than 'the Diva' Right now 'the Rifle' and Locker are totally superior to 'the Diva' because they actually have a future, probably a short one for 'the Rilfe', in the NFL. All we know for sure about 'the Diva' is that he will be unemployed 10 days after the season starts. Locker and 'the Rifle' already have jobs.

Does PO stand for playoff game? You mean the 1 playoff game he's played in? You mean the season he helped our terrible offense get to the playoffs?

Sorry to get the thread off topic. This belongs in the VY thread. Was joking when I threw his name out there. And the "diva" is all you can come up with? Please. The "divas" are on this message board. The armchair divas.

no I meant plural. Titans went to the POs in 07 and 08.

'the Diva' was NOT clutch in 07 and did not play in 08. Neither situation says VY is a clutch player with any objectivity at all.

In 07 'the Diva' quite at halftime and was second string to a terrible QB in kfc in 08.

    Yes.

Developing Locker is the number one objective for this franchise moving forward.

The QB best able to help Locker develop would be the best QB.

Vince is the QB least able to help Locker develop.

No way in hell do we want VY anywhere near Locker.Might as well get someone like Hasselbeck in here that will at least be able to do some things.Thing with Vince is not only his fragile feelings but if he sprains a finger or gets lint in his eye he is ready for injured reserve.

Which means Locker would get his playing time.

Why don't we just hire another QB mentor for Locker instead of have him take up roster space. I like Hasselback, McNabb, Orton, and a few others. I'd like to get one of them. And as far as Qb's always mentoring other QB's, from what I've heard, Favre didn't mentor AR. AR is a beast because he's a beast, not because Favre wanted to help him out.

McNabb is the only person we could sign that would make me think PLAYOFFS. McNabb:Westbrook = McNabb:CJ?? That would be my dream. If we make the obvious interior line adjustment, that would be as good as an offense that we've had in awhile.

Granted our defense has problems. It will require a lot of step-up to contend. I also know a lot of people think McNabb is washed up but I think he knows how to use a rb of CJ's skill to his advantage, more than most other Qbs would.
