I thought the article would be about them putting the Texas flag above the US flag on their flagpoles, because that's the general feeling I get about the attitudes of Texans. We should let them have their own country. They and Oklahoma, and let them destroy each other.

Texans love their State, but they love their country as well. Nothing wrong with Texans. The funny thing there wouldnt be a Texas or Texans without a bunch of good ole boys from Tennessee.

About half the country doesn't put their hand over their heart for the national anthem. I've always stood with my arms cross behind my waist.

the announcement at the Titans game says something about removing caps and placing a hand over your heart.

I do it for the anthem, but not those other songs. Like God Bless America and stuff. I see it as optional being a vet. Civilians should just do as they are instructed by loudspeakers - lol

Eh. No other country does silly stuff like this towards their flag. Never saw the reasoning.

I respect America by not harming or endangering others and following the law.

I respect the Anthem by staying silent until it's over and not interrupting others.

I have the utmost respect for the guys who go and defend our freedom so cowards like me can sit in my cushy home on a Sunday afternoon.

Not sure why patriotism has to be a religion at this point. Stupid.

If Shockey is such a great patriot ....shouldnt he have had his eyes on the Flag instead of looking around the stadium?
