  1. i love the way henry runs, he doesnt have super duper top speed but hes super quick and has an amazing stiff arm, does anyone remember that play where three eagles got to him in the backfield and he stiff armed away from all three of them, he lost yards but got back all that was possible, havent seen too much of lendale lately tho, kinda dissapointed with that

I saw some of the game. It's alot easier to be a running back, when your O-line manage to move forward and push the defense back.

Don't put Henry's success all on the line. He looks better than White out there. The line makes a difference, but it's not like we went from the worst line in the league to a top 15 line when we stopped playing Brown. Henry is breaking through tackles and getting extra yards. He wears down defenses, and THAT makes a difference. No way Brown could get some of the tough yards that Henry's been getting for us.

Aint that the truth. Brown wouldn't make it to half time without getting injured :beerbang:

In the preseason, Brown was the #1. Henry was a huge question mark and a toke away from a year's suspension. White wasn't 100% back from the hammy. Nash was overweight with a bad attitude.

It was the smart decision at the time.

Nash was not a bad RB. He was just out of shape and was behind some talented players while here.

Nash played really well last year in the last game against the Jags, considering no one else seemed to have any interest in that game. I was very surprised we cut him. At this point Lendale hasn't shown any signs he is better than Nash, and we could have certainly used that 2nd round pick in other places. This goes back to the mentality to just take someone because they are there, not filling glaring needs we have.

then explain why we drafted three WRs and three OL two drafts ago and three DEs three drafts ago.

they obviously weren't taking someone because they were there.

We also took a QB first round and a running back second round this year. We didn't need either. Fisher wanted a defensive player, with good reason. We would probably be 5-2 with Volek right now, but we are "rebuilding" again.

    Volek career 3 - 10 winning record suddenly makes us 5 - 2?

    Have you gone troppo?

WE did need a QB of the future.

As for Running Back - Brown is unreliable and Henry was an unknown quantity due to not far off a year long suspension.
