Wow...this isn't the first time I've heard someone say they think the league wanted Memphis to win. Think about it, Memphis is one of the smallest markets in the league, and not one player on Memphis is a "star"(jersey sales, commercials). Why would the league cheat for Memphis? Get that **** outta here...Durant sucked because the Grizzlies got that D.

I'm not saying Gay is some scrub, he's good but also fool's gold because he's an efficient chucking ballstopper that took shots away from 3 better players. Tayshaun Prince isn't as good as Gay individually but Prince makes the Grizzlies better because he knows his role.

And also Gay's terrible contract is someone else's problem now. Win-win for Memphis.

Remember when Geronimo was hoping the Rockets would face the Grizzlies in the playoffs. lololol would've been a clean sweep.

    It sucks.

    1. The Rockets and Thunder series was neck and neck.

    2. The Grizzles might have won the regular season series, but it was by an average by 7 points while losing by 25 in one of the games.

Uhh when do I ever talk about Jeremy Lin? He's the third best player on his team...not much to talk about since he left New York.

Rockets/Thunder was not neck and neck until Westbrook went down. The Rockets would've been swept if Westbrook didn't get hurt. Now, you'll say that Memphis only beat OKC because Westbrook was out. That might be true as it was certainly a big factor. At the least, the Grizzlies wouldn't have been able to win in 5 games, but it would've been closer than what the Rockets would've done.

I'll spot you a game. It would've been Grizz over Rockets in 5. Memphis is undefeated at home. If the Grizz and Rockets played in the playoffs, Memphis would've had home court. Grizz take a 2-0 lead. Then the Rockets win one of their home games. Series is at 3-1. Then it goes back to Memphis where the Grizz win again. 4-1. Series over.

Rockets suck! But hey, I like Harden - he just seems to suck when the playoffs come around.

People seem to forget that a Rudy Gay-less Grizzlies team beat the #1 seed Spurs and took an OKC team to 7 games that had Harden, Durant and Westbrook just the season before last.

Memphis would have been just fine against OKC with a healthy Westbrook.

The Rockets would have no chance against Memphis in a 7 game series.
