    Laker fans are a bit delusional here. Boston will have the team to beat. I think they stand alone. While the Lakers are very good, they will be challenged by some of the young teams like Houston, Miami, and Charlotte. Cleveland has a lot potential, and Utah is a player away. I do not think Bynum pushes the Lakers above any of those teams. The Lakers are more consistent now, but they are missing a piece to move into the top spot, and Bynum is not it. Dallas is not far removed from contending either. They only need a player or two. The Lakers will be in a dog fight.

    The Lakers already beat the 2nd best team. And that 2nd best team beat the 3rd best team. Boston is the 4th best team in the league. They could barely beat the Hawks and Cavs.
