    Yup.

I root for the OTHER team. ;)

And Auburn did have a cakewalk year.

All of their big games were at home except for Alabama.

The only reason they beat Arkansas and Alabama was because of the injured starting QBs on both teams. Also, Alabama was crazy beat up by the time Auburn played them.

For the SEC Championship they played... who? South Carolina. South Carolina who had a 9-5 record.

And for the BCS Championship they played... who? Oregon. How strong is Oregon's football program? Oh yeah, they've been to like, 3 bowl games in the past 13 years. And even then Auburn struggled and only won because of how sloppy they played (i.e. not downing a player after "tackling" him and letting him run for a ton more yards).

2010 was a weak year for college football in general. And yes, Auburn got a cakewalk year. Of course, buying a QB didn't hurt their chances either. And thus why that little trophy will be snatched out of their hands in the near future. :)

Dude, a SEC schedule is not a cakewalk. I don't care who the home team is or isn't. Auburn still had to beat LSU,Bama,South Carolina twice, Arkansas, Georgia. Then of course Oregon.

LSU-Bama-Oregon is not a cakewalk schedule anyway you slice it up.

Relative to the rest of the SEC... yes it was. Auburn had a much easier schedule than say, Alabama. And Auburn had a much easier road to the BCS Championship than say, Alabama the year before or Florida the year before that.

Actually, compared to Bama, Auburn had a ridiculously easy schedule, since like, most of the big teams Alabama played had a week off before they played them, including Auburn.

Relative to the SEC. Not the Pac10 or Big10 or ACC or Big East or anywhere else.

Auburn didn't have an easy schedule at all. They might have gotten extremely lucky in a few of those games.

Luck and pay for play are the perfect storm for a BCS title.

but an easy schedule? Girl please...

Like I said, relative to the rest of the SEC and past BCS Championship teams from the SEC, Auburn didn't have a very difficult schedule. Auburn's purchased championship is nowhere near as impressive as Alabama's or Florida's championships. Who did Auburn have to beat to get to the BCS Championship? A lossless Alabama. Who did Alabama have to beat to get to the BCS Championship? A lossless Florida. Who did Auburn have to beat? The 9-5 Games.

And I'm not even considering PAC10 or Big10 or any of the other conferences when I make that statement because that's just silly, obviously any SEC team will have a more challenging schedule than those conferences.

But relative to other teams in the SEC? Auburn had the easiest schedule of them all.

Yeah it's much more impressive than either of Florida's considering Auburn was UNDEFEATED.

Who is the only SEC team with two undefeated seasons in the last 7 years? Auburn!

Who has won the Iron Bowl 7 of the last 9 seasons? Auburn!

Again, the SEC teams were incredibly weak compared to how they had been the previous seasons.

Also kind of stupid to yap about the Iron Bowl over the past 7 years, given that Alabama was playing musical coaches between '97-'06 and was under probation from 2002-2006. In terms of the past 4 years, it's tied. With Alabama losing during Saban's first year and, obviously, last year.

Of course, Auburn will be finding out all about probation soon. :)
