How about before we anoint the Colts as geniuses in the Luck deal, we actually let them accomplish something noteworthy with Luck. This is about winning Superbowls, right? Not just making playoffs and being competitive?

There is very little to prove what you are saying will work. It's less about when you draft and more about who you draft. You are making an assumption that just because we have a higher pick we are going to hit on the draft pick all while ignoring the importance of wins to the players and the importance of wins for player growth.

I flat out do not understand how "fans" can actively root against the team of which they are a "fan". I certainly understand the sentiment that it means less and doesn't effect someone as much. I'm sure not going to be as disappointed when the Titans lose more games this season because in my mind we already blew it. But I don't want the Titans to lose just cause this is going to be the time they choose the right player instead of Pacman or VY or Britt? Nah, I'd rather see Casey and Wright or Hunter have some big games and wins to promote some good vibes and chemistry amongst the guys that will be around instead of developing a mentality and culture of losing.

 

If it gets Munch fired and clean house I am all for whatever needs to be done even if it includes losing games this year. If the titans win games now and we keep munch and company, what does that accomplish, please answer that then I may be onboard

 

Wish I could high five this multiple times. Losing is an attitude as much as winning is.

 

I agree that a losing atmosphere affects a players development. look at how weak of leaders CJ and Griffin are.

 

If we win now, we keep munch and if we keep munch for next year we will lose!

 

If we win out and make the playoffs would you have a problem with Munch staying another year?


If we are 8-8 and miss the playoffs and they keep Munch I'm right there with you. But I'm not blaming or going to be pointing my finger at Munch, I'll be pointing it at the front office.
