Not if McFarlane is doing it.

Fred and Wilma will have 3 kids now.
    Pebbles a whore.
There will be random flashbacks and segues.
    Dino will be a drunk.
    Cleveland will appear.
Fred will work at the quarry before moving on to Stone Age Brewery.

Same as Hollywood, not surprising. It's like once they found out reality tv was an option, creativity ceased to exist.

I loved the Flintstones as a kid, and that was the 90s. I'd rather watch it than American Idol. Good shows and music stay decently relevant through the decades.

Flintstones has been out of popular circulation so long and the fact that it's McFarland it may have a chance at being Ok.. If it was anyone else I'd pan it by default..

If it's American Dad-good, I'll check it out. If it's Family Guy-mediocre or Cleveland Show-unwatchable, then meh.

The Flintstones is a great example of why there shouldn't be a movie for everything.

Mr. Hanna and Mr. Barbera ate a big plate of the Honeymooners, then threw it up on the carpet, tossed in some toy dinosaurs, and there you have the Flintstones.

When that got staler than stale they made teenagers out of the kids and went Josie and the cats with it, somehow got Harvey Korman to voice a green alien, made some really horrible live action films, and now we're talkin' Family Guy reboot?

Officially out of ideas is definitely on point. What's next? A live action Smurfs? Oh... yeah.
