What is Donnie Edwards status? Is he starting for the Chargers? Is that a real possibility or is someone just dreaming?

 

Why is that? A 5th round pick is almost worthless, basically the same as giving him away and if SD is really serious we should get atleast a 4th.

Worst case scenario is Volek stays on the Titans as the #3 in case we have an injury. I wouldn't trade for a 5th. It isn't worth it.

 

Mauck was asked to "hang" in Nashville for a few weeks ... so ...

 

We need a player, either O line help or inside LB. Why take a draft pick if you can add a player now.

agreed Big TT, a draft pick is a gamble when you look at Woolfolk & Calico

 

But you're not exactly going to get the next Bruce Matthews in return for Volek.
