NFL Clarifies Pacman Celebration Penalty

it would have been nice for the league to notify teams.

 

After watching a player from SF get penalized Thursday for using the end zone pylon to celebrate I wondered how Pac could use the goal post and not get one. That answered that.

 

Who says Pacman watched the 49er game?

That's a strange deal. You cannot have it both ways. If it is a penalty to use equipment as part of your celebration, I don't think you can say that a pylon is equipment and a goal post isn't. There needs to be some consistency.

 

I wonder what hell do now, I mean, he had trademarked that celebration, now he needs a new one
