SUMMARY: With the 30th pick of the 2009 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans have selected Kenny Britt, WR, Rutgers.

The Big East Conference's elite receiver ended his brilliant three-year career as the league's all-time leading receiver with 3,043 receiving yards in just 34 games. The Associated Press third-team All-American ranked second in the nation with an average of 114.25 receiving yards per game and finished eighth nationally with 87 receptions, an average of 7.25 grabs each contest.

Known for his ability to gain yardage after the catch, Britt closed out his career in explosive fashion, registering his 14th 100-yard receiving game vs. North Carolina State in the PapaJohns.com Bowl. That total tied the Big East Conference record that was first set by Larry Fitzgerald of Pittsburgh (2002-03). That record also included a string of five consecutive 100-yard performances during his junior campaign.

I have mixed feelings but no complaints because this guy will stretch the field.

Got to hand it to Wyatt. He nailed the pick.

The Boldin rumors are officially dead.

Thought we got a good fit. Strong and Agressive. Should help CJ hit the deep lanes with his kick out blocks. And should be a good fit for the short passing game. Plays like Boldin. Plays agressive to the ball. Good numbers. Seems a bit slow. Might be a lot like Terrell Owens.

I still think we need speed. But I like this pick.

I initially wasn't too high on Britt. But here are some things I thought about.

    1. He has great size. (6'3 and jacked)
    2. He's fast. (especially for his size. 4.40)
    3. He's young. (only 20 years old. Most kids would be sophmores at his age)
    4. He's VERY productive:
    5. He broke LARRY FITZGERALD's receiving yards record. (most in Big East history)
    6. He's very competitive. (already talks about being rookie of the year)
    7. He blocks. And blocks very well-

    ^He killed that poor kid.
    8. He also played defense...and...

    ...kills kids doing that also.
    9. He runs good routes.
    10. He wont lose many jump balls.

I hope he is on the field more than Lavelle Hawkins was.

Britt,Nate and Gage should be a threat to any team.

I like the pick, he's better than that Robenskie kid. He was obviously the best WR on the board.
