"Rams coach Jeff Fisher, a member of the Competition Committee, said he believes coaches will be able to properly instruct their players in how to adjust to this rule."

It goes against instinct. When you run into something you put your head down to protect your face. You don't run into a wall face-first, do you?

It is part of an overall woosification of western society. In Sweden a city council wants to force male employees to pee sitting down. In some schools they stop giving a mark of 0 for not handing in an assignment. Also in some schools they teach primary school age children about transsexuals and that you should act the gender you feel like. There are you sports leagues that have stopped keeping score or standings. Pretty soon it will be illegal to hurt someones feelings.

So why not no contact football.
    Obie09 high fives this.

I told you people to protest when they started making changes. Everybody laughed.

How hard is it to get a freakin facebook petition going or something like that? If we worked team by team we could get influence. Maybe we should be the 1st fanbase to come out against it.

Would start a new trend of fans having an influence on the game. Not just CEO's who could care less about anything other than money.

I signed that. DO not think I was a on this site at the time. I also supported that politician who got on the league about canceling the game in Philly because of a little snow. Like that he said in China they would be walking to the game doing calculus the whole way.
