Nicks Cut

Four WR is crazy low... got to imagine we'll get another WR from somewhere. the PS should have McBride and Rico on it though. Nicks we may pick up again after the season starts?

 

Where did we think we were going to get room for 4 tight ends?

 

Actually 5 TE's : walker, Fasano, Stevens, Coffman, and Supernaw.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't have kept Supernaw. But. We'll see.

 

McCormick thinks we're going with 4 WRs in week one then signing Nicks afterwards because vet contracts have less guarantees after week one.

 

Very odd to keep only 4 Wrs. Yeah you can say McCluster and Coffman are versatile enough to the point where we only need 4 WRs, but Hunter and DGB are still as raw as they come. So basically we only have 2 WRs that can be clutch when things start getting hectic.

 

How in the **** did that slip by the union

 

It's been like that for a while too.

I remember the Titans cutting a vet WR with the intention of bringing him back but they never did. He threw a fit about it too. Don't remember the guy's name though. I think he played for the Steelers before us.

That's what I'm thinking. Mccluster seems serviceable enough beyond the los. Coffman is gonna do good things for us.
