Njoku... as a wr?

    I'm kind of intrigued with the prospect of drafting David Njoku, but with the intent of making him a WR instead of a TE.

    The guy is a better, faster, big WR to me. Can't block well for a TE, but would destroy corners and safeties as a WR.

    Would be sick in the red zone.

    Thoughts? If he could be had in the second?

    He's a match up nightmare wherever he's lined up.

    If we don't get a WR early, Njoku would be a nice alternative.

    I like that or Engram in the 3rd for a WR role, same reasons.

    Yea but he's a top 20 pick.

    You draft him to play your flexed TE/Big Slot WR role year one. Let him work on his inline blocking, he doesn't have a slight frame- he can do it , just a matter of getting reps there.

    If we're gonna draft a TE to convert to WR it should be Engram. Njoku needs to stay TE and learn how to block

    The guy can't catch...11% drop rate. I'd rather get a TE who can also block or a WR who can actually catch.
