NO Dre and NO Clements

    With Asante Asamuel taken off the FA market that to me took the best CB off the market. I do not feel Clements would be worth whatever the asking price with only 3ints and 61 takles last year not sure that is worth a high dollar. Pacman had more ints and takles. Not sure Nate would be much improved than reynaldo hill. Dre Bly is old and washed up no good and a bit of a trouble maker. I would be quite upset to see either of these two jokers wearing titans blue next season. Just go with the draft and save the money there are 0 no free agents worth anything this season that could benefit the Titans. Just go like we have before go with the draft.

    Nate Clements, 2-time pro bowler, is not better than Reynaldo Hill, one of the worst starting CBs in football? Comedy gold.

    Lets sway the topic a little bit. With Samuel off the market Clements' price/interest level goes up for every team in need of a corner. What do you think happens if we don't get him or another starting-caliber corner in free agency?

    Buuuut, I heard on Sirius Clements is looking for 18 million guaranteed, 4 year deal worth about 30 million total.. no small change for any team..

    I know its stupid to try and judge a CB's ability on stats alone. IIRC, Bills had a bad run defense last year.. That alone would be enough to lower season totals by a few.

    As it is, I'd take my local Taco Bell drive through clerk over Hill. I really coveted Samuel, but I'll take Clements. Not sure if he's worth the money, but we need him desperately. The only way our defense won't suck with Schwartz running it is to simply have a pro bowl caliber player at each position.

    We're close already. We have 5-6 already... Just need a few more.

    Well.... How about we just give Rey one more shot? Put Finnegan and Hill in a little battle to see who wins the job. If we cant get Samuel then screw it. I kno pretty much anyone would be an upgrade over Hill but I dont wanna be paying that much for someone... I still have high hopes for him tho..

    Samuel's interceptions has everyone fooled. He's not great in coverage, he's just great at finding the ball. Nate Clements is a far better cover-corner.
