No room for sentiment with Colts on Harrison

He was not the same guy last season, and while the faithful are appreciative of his career, they also want to maximize the team's chances to win another Super Bowl during the remainder of <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1428" target="_new">Peyton Manning</a>'s prime and trust that's Polian's singular focus.</p> <p>Most who follow the team on a daily basis had the same sense as Sports Illustrated's Peter King, who <a href="http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/peter_king/02/22/mmqb/index.html?eref=T1" target="_blank">wrote Monday morning</a> that "Polian does not give scholarships for longer than one year. And Harrison was on scholarship last year."</p> <p>Harrison would rank highly on a list of the least public stars in the NFL, so I don't expect we're going to hear anything from him about how this goes down or what he's hoping for going forward.</p>
