I think that he has lost his speed, and he is no speed when he tries to go through the line backwards.

We went through the whole "he lost his speed" thing last year guys. He later burned several defenses with long runs where he was clearly not only faster, but much faster than anyone on the field. CJ will have big games this year. Relax.

I think he ran hard the first 3 weeks, but didn't really have a chance yesterday. The Jets were getting 4, 5, or even 6 guys in the backfield on some of those plays.

The Jets were awesome against the run yesterday. Their defenders said after the game the plan was to stuff the run and make the Titans beat them with the pass. They did that. Unfortunately for them, the Titans did just that. You also have to look beyond rushing stats. CJ has been excellent with blitz pickup all season. In fact, he may be the best 195-200 lb RB I've ever seen with respect to blitz pickup. This will become even more important if Fitz has to play for an extended period of time due to his lack of mobility compared to Locker.. Relax. We're winning, and the better the passing game gets, the more teams are going to have to back off of CJ. That is assuming Fitz does a good job if he's the guy for a while.

For CJ every defense is a tough defense.

We really really really need him to. Cause without Locker and if CJ still averages 3 yards with 0 big runs then this good season could easily go bad.

Yeah, we'll need big games from CJ. What the hell is it with this franchise that we start every season slow with respect to the running game, and pick it up as the season goes on?

I think alot of defenses would rather focus more on CJ than Locker. They all know he can hit a homerun in a split second if giving the opportunity. If Locker didn't get hurt, I think teams would change their scheme on defending us and focus more on Locker.
