Sure. One of my good friends who is one our scouts (that I won't name) told me this a couple of days ago. Whiz hand picked several players in the draft that haven't performed like he thought they would and he ended up throwing the scouts and gm under the bus. Whiz wanted to stick with Mettenberger and never had any real interest in Mariota. Take it for what it's worth, I'm just passing along what I was told from someone within the organization. He also said he likes Mularkey and that he didn't get a fair shake in Jacksonville but he thinks it's a long shot he remains the HC next year.
