Hopefully VY can improve from last year, Heimerdinger will most likely continue the trend of getting the most out of the WRs

Our roster going in to the season at RB looks like it will be Lendale White, Chris Johnson, and Chris Henry. My question is, what type of production do you believe each player will have.

If you look at what the Giants were able to accomplish in the running game, while still throwing for over 3300, hopefully we can do something very similar.

(this is of course highly speculative since we haven't even gone through training camp, nor does this truly take into account injuries.)

    **Prediction**

    Passing
    Vince Young - 2950 yards 16 Tds 11 Ints 80.2 Rating
    Kerry Collins - 260 yards 2 Tds 1 Int ?? Rating

    Rushing
    Lendale White - 245 carries 1000 yards 4.1 ypc 7 TD
    Chris Johnson - 130 carries 620 yards 4.8 ypc 5 TD
Vince Young 61 carries 405 yards 6.6 ypc 5 TD
    Chris Henry - 42 carries 160 yards 3.8 ypc 2 TD

I can't even wonder which WR's will be doing what, too many ?? I believe.

    What do y'all think?

I think Young will run for more td's...also, I think Chris Johnson and Lendale White will fix our whole "red zone" problem

It's hard to predict what our offensive production will look like with this group:

    84 BLAKLEY, DWAYNE
    80 SCAIFE, BO
    85 PETROWSKI, JAMIE
    83 CRUMPLER, ALGE
    44 STEPHENS, LEONARD
    88 STEVENS, CRAIG
    19 McCAREINS, JUSTIN
    86 WILLIAMS, ROYDELL
    81 JONES, BRANDON
    12 GAGE, JUSTIN
    11 WILLIAMS, PAUL
    17 DAVIS, CHRIS
    82 EALY, BIREN
    18 WILLIAMS, MIKE
    13 RIVERS, JASON WR
    14 WILLIAMS, EDWARD
    87 HAWKINS, LAVELLE WR

And if Hawkins wants his career to last more than 3 seasons, he'd better change that number quick!!!!!!

I have high hopes. I think the offense will work. But you have basically the same cast of characters in my opinion, and so I will not be dissapointed with the same results as lasy year if that indeed happens. The scheme still needs players. Chris Johnson is possibly one if he get's used. Vince is the other. I am optimistic though as I like the scheme. I just wonder if we have enough playmakers around Vince to make it go.

Personally, I think less passing yards for VY, but many more rushing. Rushing numbers might be accurate for CJ, but he'll have 300 or more receiving yards to go with it.

To me, there is no telling who will have the most catches or receiving yards for us. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't Gage or Roydell.

I think C. Johnson could have more all purpose yards than lendale in his rookie year....just watch. I'm not hating on Lendale, but I think C. Johnson is way too explosive...we'll get a lot of production out of him

I wasn't factoring in the passing. I think CJ will have quite a few receptions too..

All-purpose, maybe. But I don't think he'll have more rushing yards though.

He had somewhere around 2500 last year. Adding CJ and Crumpler should add another 300 or so on top of what we had last year. We didn't lose anyone on offense, and gained a pro-bowl TE, and McCareins. Even if McCareins isn't effective, I don't think VY could have anything less than 2800 yards. Heimerdinger = a better offense.
