We'll rely heavily on the defense again but offense will surprise.

IMO VY better pass for 3000 yards or more this year or he won't have a very successful year IMO. If we assume ALL the WRs combined for 2000 yards (not exactly earth shattering, no better than last year) receiving then you only have 1000 yards more for Chris Johnson and the other RBs as well as Crumpler and the other TEs to accumulate to get to 3000.

The other issue is for VY to simply have more TDs passing than INTs. It doesn't have to be a 2 to 1 ratio(which would be nice) but a few more TDs than INTS and he can contribute a reasonable amount with his legs in yardage and TDs (400 and 6) we will be far better than last year.

Thinking VY will triple his passing TDs from last season might be a bit much.

Crumpler needs to have a big season to help Vince, so does Roydell. Roydell looked liked he took big strides last season.

Well... he had 12 TD passes in 11 starts in 2006.

Last year was a weird year. His completion percentage went up but his TD to INT ratio went down.

I doubt you or anybody else wants to hear about what VY did at Texas, but I think it's worth pointing out that he wasn't always extraordinary. He struggled his first two years at Texas too. But when things finally clicked, they really clicked.

In 2003, he completed 58.7% for 1154 yards and 6-7 TDs to INTs.

In 2004, he completed 59.2% for 1849 yards and 12-11 TDs to INTs.

In 2005, he completed 65.2% for 3036 yards and 26-10 TDs to INTs.

I think my prediction is reasonable. I still expect him to throw a lot of picks, however, I expect a lot more TDs too. Last year was ridiculous.
