    Aggressive long or aggressive short?

I do think there are downsides to the multiplier ETFs and I recommend only using them in short term patterns. If you are wrong and plan to hold it awhile, it takes a lot longer to make up any losses.

LOL, a true million dollar idea! I'd watch it.

I dont think we should let this thread die. I'm up for some investment related talk. I'm not a guru by any means but I do follow a few simple guidelines when investing and I think that so many people try to over think investing and get so consumed with making a million bucks tomorrow, they end up burning out or go broke.

My number 1 rule is actually adopted from something Warren Buffet said:

"stay within your circle of competence"

Which means I don't invest in something I don't know about. One thing I do know about is p0ker. A few months ago, i made a wsop circuit final table (obv brag) and over the past few years I would play online poker with moderate success but nothing to really brag about. What does this have to do with investing?

Some of you that are in taboo might remember my post about MGM stock. I can't search in taboo but i wrote something about MGM stock being a can't miss. It was like 2-3 weeks ago I said it. Since then, I'm up over 20% and I expect it to skyrocket in years to come.

Why? They teamed up with partypoker.com and plan to launch a US regulated poker room when the legislation in congress is passed. The CEO expects that to happen this year. Watch the video below to get the scoop on this.

    <object id="cnbcplayer" height="380" width="400" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,0,0" > <param name="type" value="application/x-shockwave-flash"/> <param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"/> <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"/> <param name="quality" value="best"/> <param name="scale" value="noscale" /> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"/> <param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"/> <param name="salign" value="lt"/> <param name="flashVars" value="startTime=000"/> <param name="flashVars" value="endTime=000"/> <param name="movie" value="http://plus.cnbc.com/rssvideosearch/action/player/id/3000066103/code/cnbcplayershare" /> <embed name="cnbcplayer" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" bgcolor="#000000" height="380" width="400" quality="best" wmode="transparent" scale="noscale" salign="lt" src="http://plus.cnbc.com/rssvideosearch/action/player/id/3000066103/code/cnbcplayershare" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" /></object>

Now i could be wrong, but this is a stock I am buying and plan on holding on to for a very long time. My expectations could be extremely high... but I think this is the next "Apple". Think about how much money apple made off the ipod? That was a billion dollar revenue stream. Online poker is much of the same.

Worried about competiton? I'm not. I think that traditional pokersites such as PokerStars.com and FullTiltPoker.com are going to be locked out of the US poker scene? Why? Those companies committed felonies under the current law. How would they be allowed to come back? Many industry leaders agree with me on this. Congress is giving the Las Vegas casinos the power to run with this and they won't allow anyone else into the market.

I dont know, its just my 2 cents but it seems like it would be a smart idea to buy this and hold on to it for a few years. Online poker is a multi BILLION dollar industry and once it comes back to America with regulation, these Las Vegas casinos will start sending out mailers to their customer databases and invite them to play the new regulated online poker and when that happens... I can't see anything other than the stock skyrocketing. Could i be wrong? Yes. Am i a pro at this? BY NO MEANS and you should you take my advice as "solid" advice. You do this at your own risk and do your own homework and talk to a pro before you invest. This is pure amateur speculation.

Boom! Another stock I've invested in... is HIMX... i bought it at $1 a share, its trading over $1.25 today hopefully it hits my target of $1.80-$2.00... we're in the middle of a small rally and i think there is plenty of money to be made if you got the guts to put it in the market.
