To counter the Official "Im Done" thread I have created one for those of us wishing to remain fans.

Do not misunderstand me, I am not happy about Munch still being the head coach. Nor am I cheering for the team to lose next year so he will be fired. But I am staying with this team because a Titans fan is what I am.

    And why? Because:
    • Cheering for this team since I was a pre-teen in the late '80s it is now a part of me
    • I love football too much and cheering for other NFL teams would feel hollow
    • Disappointment is what most real sports fans feel with respect to their teams most of the time. This is normal and is part of being a sports fan
Also, this is by far not the lowest point for this franchise:

I got nowhere else to go. Ill just stay in complacentville. All the titans org does is let down the fans.. So I'm not real inclined to give a poop about this team.

Least I can say my NFC team made the playoffs this year, but I'll be watching next season, hopeful that we'll get one extra win, even though I highly doubt it'll happen.

But nobody has said for sure if munchak is staying, it's just been said it's "likely".

Who knows, we might get surprised, hear he's been fired, and burn this mother down.

I'm pretty excited about next year. I may have to leave this forum to keep my sanity, though...

Thank you for making this thread. I'm riding this b*tch till the wheels fall off and when they fall off I'll only get off to help push. Been a Titans fan since the moment I understood football. Images of the incredibly muscled but nimble Eddie George running through defenders and hearing announcers say "air McNair" even in Madden 2003 (my first football video game) will be burned in my brain and heart forever. I even decided at 11 that I wanted a goatee and shaved head at 25 because D-Mason's was so sweet.

Being a fan of this team is how I know my marriage will last because through the ups and downs I'll always be there scratching and clawing for my marriage and team. I feel sincerely sad for people who don't have this mindset because they will let go the things that matter most to them in life just because it's easier. Titan today, Titan tomorrow, Titan forever.
