Is it at all possible that in this years draft, 5 of the top 10 players are Oklahoma Sooners? Just curious of the chance this has of happening and if it does, has anything like it occurred in past drafts?
No it's not possible. Okung and Dez Bryant are from Oklahoma State so they aren't Sooners. McCoy and Bradford and Trent Williams might all go in the top 10 though Williams is 50/50 for that (more like a mid-rnd 1st). The next 2 Sooners are Gresham who I'd expect to go near the bottom of rnd 1 and Franks who I expect to go in rnd 2. There is virtually no way gresham and Franks will be top 10 picks and even Williams is iffy that high. 5 Prospects could very go in the top 10-11 picks from Oklahoma...they just won't all be Sooners. Has it ever happened? Good question. I rarely look at the draft based on how many picks come from one team/division/state so I don't know. Gut
I've watched Trent Williams for 3 years now and I can guarantee that he is going to be a bust. The guy is a great workout warrior but didn't do anything last year. He is living off his reputation from 2 years ago that he got from playing a bunch of pansies, when he did face a good pass rusher he got abused. See Sergio Kindle and Brian Orakpo and Carlos Dunlap.
