Are you kidding? Do you really think we have superior talent to the 8 teams we have beaten thus far? At best, we have average talent with two or three great players. Even teams with elite talent have poor years (SD & Dallas). The fact that this team of unknown and underachieving players is 8-0 speaks directly to Fisher's ability as a head coach.

 

Just looking at stats is flawed.

Those last 4 games Young looked like a headless chicken who couldn't be trusted to pass downfield.If that is managed by high percentage short pass plays & dump offs that limit your QB's need to read & react & improvise, it doesn't mean he's doing well.

He took himself out of a play off game when we were ahead because he could'nt cope with the pressure. After a so called productive off season program he lasted little more than a half in week1 before mentally folding again & having to be replaced by Collins who saved the game.

Collins is far from perfect but he's mature & reliable & his team mates have confidence in him. He takes responsibilty for his own mistakes & seems to respond well when under pressure.

Against the Ravens & the Colts Collins engineered almost mistake free game winning drives when the running game had stalled.Collins is getting great protection but when the protection fails he's avoiding sacks by getting outside the hash marks & throwing the ball away.

Don't allow your Vince Young homerism to compare Collins low QB rating with Youngs. Collins low rating comes from Fisherball. He's just doing what he's being asked to do without complaining.

I want nothing more than to see Vince Young come back & be a playmaker but he hasn't been that since his rookie year.I haven't written him off by any means but we're 8 & 0 & now is not the time to give him another shot.If you can't see that you know very little about football & whining about Collins playing in his place is pitiful.

Kerry's passing rating is lower than it normally would be based on how he has played because he isn't throwing many TD passes.

When we get the ball in the red zone we run it in. 15 rushing TDs from lendale and CJ.


Kerry has few opportunities to throw a TD pass.
