On Defense What is it........

    I just watched a few replays of Titans games on demand on comcast and I have a question on most of the games a team would do a Play Action bootleg or a fake end around or end around play with a WR or a Running back and every single time the Titans defense were faked out or completely over ran the play(Ie: Broncos pre-season did 4 straight bootlegs 2 to the left and 2 to the right and titans bought it everytime). I agree with Rod Woodson who said on the NFLN it has to do with players not trusting each other to do their jobs and not fail on their assignments so that leads to the over runs or fake outs. Now to me this is a problem with scheme and personnel and communication. Is this to fall only on Jim Schwartz??? I dont like him I think he needs to get the boot but its not all his fault.

    IIRC, they talked about that and in games later on, you'd see LaBoy (that's the one that sticks out in my mind) staying put.

    I beefed about that every weekend, at every game. Not one of our defensive ends played the Playaction Bootleg well, I saw KVB, TL, and whomever they stuck in there at DE, get sucked in like a vaccum chasing down the line HARD, without even looking back side, just about every single time. I'm telling you I ranted about this very same thing all last season. Hell, even the OLB's(Keith, & Thorton) were biting. This is due to poor gme film study on the players part, and poor adjustments on the coaching staff. Ulitmately I believe that the blame lies with the coaches, b/c when something consistently fails, and you see it's not working, then it's time to call something else, so with that said, JS, needs to get the Hell On!!!! "Hit the roooad jack, dontcha come back here no more, no more, no more, no more, no more, hit the roooad jack, dontcha come back no moreeeee, whatcu say???.....
