That's funny, but... my post was pretty simple. I'm just curious why it was rated as such? Seemed... retarded.

 

Dunno about SD "dumping" Brees "like a hot potato". SD tried to keep them both but they said "you're gonna have to pick one or the other cause we got a career to pursue!". The way they told it, it was damn near flipping a coin. That said, there's no guarantee that if the players were switched that SD would've been in the SB instead of NO.

Brees made the decision fairly easy when he injured his throwing shoulder diving for a loose ball. There were too many questions as to whether he would throw again. NO took a chance... that paid off in spades.
