One the got away: Sen'Derrick Marks

I always felt that he didn't get enough playing time.

Maybe it was because he was too young, or the staff just misjudged his talent, I will never know.

 

I honestly believe between our coaching staff at the time, his lack of play, and our direction...It stunted his growth and confidence. The kid is a beast in J Ville...That should tell you a whole lot.

 

Marks is like that chubby girl you dated in high school because her parents lived on the lake and had a boat but you dumped her before going to college.

Then you hear she dropped the chub became a solid 9 and got her law degree.

Not too many people were upset when he left

 

I sure wasn't. He was worthless for a lot of the time here, it seemed. Who knows, maybe in our current system, he would have remained a dud.

 

Oh well. Ain't gonna cry over 2 year old spilled milk. Not the first bad decision this organization has made and certainly won't be the last.

 

Man have I had one of those...I'd have been set for life...lol

 

I wanted to keep him, but didn't make a big deal about it.

 

every team has players who do well after they leave...

Titans just happen to only have one, at the moment. Says a lot... it means they draft horribly, and pick up bad Free Agents.

And a player's success is dependent on the team he's on.

The Randy Moss that played for the Pats and Vikings also played on the Raiders and Titans..and was pretty poor.
