One thing is for certain... Locker must start

What's also been obvious is that Munchak has been a man of his word.

He is more married to Locker if you think about it. Locker was the first player he drafted. Getting Hasselbeck to come in was always for Lockers benefit, as soon as Locker shows the coaches he's ready to be the full-time guy, they'll immediately turn the team over to him.

 

If Munchak starts Locker and he struggles he looks like an idiot for throwing him out there too early.

If he starts Hasselbeck and if/when the team struggles, he's safe from all wrong doing.

 

That works both ways, neither make Munchak "safe"

If he starts Hass and Hass loses the first 4 or something, and Locker is sitting on the sidelines with his thumb up his ***, how is that scot free?

 

Because then he plays locker and he tears it up or he sucks it up, either way no one is going to blame Munchak because "Hasselbeck won the competition"

It's not going to be a fair competition, just wait and see..

Hasselbeck didn't sign a 3 year deal to only play one of those years..

 

I think Hasselbeck does very well when CJ plays well and Britt and the rest of the offense is playing and healthy. But im not sure how Britt will be. I think if we stay healthy then Hasselbeck is a safe bet, but if were not healthy and doing well Locker can put a spark in the team and get us going.

 

Let's just go Locker from the start. Locker, CJ, Britt, Wright, Washington, D-Will, and Cook wow that's a group.
