    if this was in taboo, i'd tell you guys a few crazy stories about my trip :) I don't want the whole world knowing what I did in vegas. You know..on second thought... maybe i should let what happens in vegas stay in vegas.

    Glitz = 90's era strip casino's or the Palms
    Gambling = Palace Station, Monte Carlo, Harrah's, RIO or one of the local joints

    Worst gambling luck ever at the Venetian and New York New York. Stayed there many times, the rooms are great but you need to take language classes to understand what people are saying.

    Ugh the Venetian and NYNY are both miserable.. The places with the loosest gaming are definitely north of the needle. Likeliest places to get stabbed with a corndog stick as well.

    Sedona is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Make sure you go to Slide Rock and get some fresh cider.

    I used to live really close to the Carefree/Cave Creek area. Go to Pinnacle Peak Patio and get one of the best mesquite grilled steaks anywhere and wash it down with one of their microbeers. The White Chocolate beer is an excellent dessert choice...eat outside with a great view looking down into the Phoenix valley...

    Is Pinnacle Peak patio in that old cowboy oasis up there? I've heard great things about the steakhouse there (Pinnacle Pete's?). Been up Alma School many times over the years.
    Slide Rock too. Used to stay at Junipine every fall. Beautiful America that place is - Sedona.

    I went to Vegas when I was like 10. Pretty useless, but it was after the best trip of my life... 8 day rafting trip down the Colorado River.
