Exactly. If that's the reason Mularkey went with the onside kick he was wrong twice. Once for being dumb and doing it in the first place, and a second time for thinking we were going to break 17 points.

 

I blame AAS. She's responsible for this. I'm not at all sold that if they don't make the playoffs that he will be gone.

 

But let's not think Mularkey knew it was going to be a 26-16 game.

We all, including Mularkey thought this game was going to take at least 31 points to win this game.

Had we recovered the kick and ran the ball down their throats for a TD and Mularkey looks like a genius.

If Mularkey had a winning record as a coach I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

Instead I just think he's a moron because a lot of his "if they worked he'd be a genius" moves don't work.

That's on Mularkey for having as good of a grasp on his team's ability as fans who aren't in the building.
