The way the D looked......they would have scored a TD from the their 25 or the 50.

Mularkey was being a realist in knowing that the Raiders offense was going to be tough for us to stop....it is an offense that will be hard for every team to stop. The coaches job is to try and give his team the best chance to win. By trying to steal a possession Mularkey was trying to help us win...the move was not going to win us or lose us the game no matter how it turned out...it was one play that we took a chance on and it didn't work out. Plenty of other chances to make plays on both offense and defense.

Didn't see the browns onside kicking and they gave the stealers a hell of a half.
If you onside kick to start the game you might as well let the other team see you burn your mancard on the sidelines. It's the ultimate we know we suck and we can't stop you move.

You really think mularkey is some sort of innovative guru? firt time in almost a decade a team has come out and onside kicked.

    ALSO
what does that tell our defense?? we don't trust you guys at all we're going to onside kick.
**** that especially with a rookie corner in adoree. You should have confidence in your guys no matter what.

Bad call to start the game. There's a reason only 2 teams have done it in the last 17 years.
    Play football don't get cute.

I didn't say he was an innovative guru...I said he was a realist...he knew that for us to win this game we had to win the turnover battle...one way to try to do that is to steal a possession... I have no problems with him taking a chance that gives us a better opportunity to win the game....as a Titans defender you could look at the move as saying that the coach has confidence in you stopping the other team and that coach isn't worried about giving the other team a short field. Unconventional yes... did it cost us the game NO... my guess is that if you asked the players they were for it...they saw it as a move to try and win the game

It's part of what cost us the game, that and the roughing the kicker could have easily changed the outcome. Who knows what happens but I like our chances when they're on the 20 WAY more than our chance when they're on the 50. That's potentially 3 first downs.

it did 'work' execution was flawed.

it appeared the Titans could have gained posession at the 45 but the Titans ST waited for the Raiders to field to ball for some reason... did the rule change that the ball is live after 10 yards?

if not the team was not well coached for a play that they had to have practiced all dang week

I thought it was a dumb way to start the game but I certainly don't think it's why we lost

    Not at all
