yeah, i think pretty much shows what i have suspected since week 8; roos isnt nasty enough and bell isnt strong enough. i like roos as a pass procector, and he has the size to be a very good run blocker, he just doesnt finish his blocks.

Yeah but Roos is improving in his run blocking it's going to come as he plays more and adds strength. I think Bell is the weak link on the O-Line he is decent but not great and doesn't have the frame to get bigger or add much more strength which is why Faneca would make us no doubt in my mind a playoff team.

Stewart is a mauler and so is Olsen but he is declining so we need a replacement which I think could be Amano, Harris, or even Otto if he moves inside permanently. I like Harris to be our C or G by a year or 2 I like his nastiness, toughness, and he's definitley experienced and versatile. Amano could be our future G but he is like Bell in a way IDK if he has the frame to get stronger and bigger and be a mauler I haven't seen him enough to know if he will ever be more than a qaulity reserve. Otto's only hope of starting is moving inside but he might be like Amano a qaulity reserve that is versatile.

Our OL is our strength...no question IMHO.

We just need to hope that we drafted some quality depth.

From what I've seen, those #'s don't tell the whole story. Bell can pull to the right and make good blocks. He's good on the move. Benji....well not so much. He looks clumsy sometimes when trying to block on the move or get to a LB. I wonder if he actually did lose weight like they wanted him too last year, or if it'd even help.

But Benji holds his ground better than Bell. Bell sometimes gets pancaked by LB's, and gets mauled too much by big guys on the line. I think he's a little better than Benji, even if those stats don't seem to show it.

Well if we got Faneca think about how much better our Offense would be Running........passing everything. It all starts in the trenches and Faneca would be an upgrade over every G in the league except for maybe Steve Hutchinson.
