the following SB era expansion teams qualified for Postseason play within their first 5 years:

    Tampa Bay
    Jacksonville
    Carolina
    Cleveland

It took Seattle 8 years to make the POs earning a 50-70-0.417 record with 3 of their first 8 seasons winning seasons, and 3 double digit loss seasons as well.

HouMoos record for first 7 years 40-72-0.357 with no winning seasons and 4 double digit loss seasons.

truly the cows are the most unsuccessful SB era expansion team EVER!

If the cows can go 13-2-1.844 they will tie the Seahawks for most inept SB era expansion team.

So since you agree that what counts is what has happened within the Super Bowl era, you must be willing to agree that the titans have been losers for 43 years. After all it is only the Super Bowl trophy that counts right GeT. That would make the titans one of the worse teams in the history of the Super Bowl era. I am glad you agree.

The real measure of success in the NFL is playoffs appearance. The Ultimate is Superbowl.

We aspire to Superbowls, you to playoffs. Get it?

3rd team in the last ten years with more playoffs appearances. I would say that is very successful. That is why Jeff Fisher is a well stablished NFL coach (lets see you deny that)

The TENNESSEE TITANS, which exists as TITANS and in TENNESSEE since 1999, are THAT team.

And face it, the reason Bud Adams retained heritage and the right of the name is so that the city of Houston could not reclaim the name and heritage for an expansion team. In other words, just to pizz you off.

I guess you have the right to hate the guy, but c'mon, trying to sell the idea the Titans are an unsuccessful team is ridiculous nowadays.

they weren't in Tennessee until 10 years ago, so why would we care what happened before then?...

...besides, you didn't see us crying at 0-4

Unless you actually know your NFL history and can conclude that those 2 franchises had a much easier road to start than any other franchise in NFL expansion history.

Like any Texans fan would discredit Fisher and how good of a coach he is. Not many cities get awarded a franchise with him attached to it as a coach... thats a good thing for you guys.

And yes of course we have a right to hate the guy.... and in the end its all about the Super Bowl wins isnt it? Until you guys win one, there is always a risk every year that Buds current residential city gets one before he does. This isnt the MLB... any year a team from the bottom, the middle, or where ever can jump to the top the next year. We are both sitting on our couches and will both be 0-0 come September.

let me see if i am understanding this...

so you are saying that the reason the Jags and Panthers made it to the AFC-NFC Championships was because the NFL was just really easy then?
