    Oh boy!!

Now that is impressive.... 10 years (with an established franchise that was 38 - including Tenn. Oilers) and absolutely zilch to show for it.

C'mon Sparrow. Are you that butt-hurt that you have to go back to this weak lie. And you know it's a lie because you've been repeatedly schooled on the subject.

    Tough loss.

But yes.... we all know that its impossible for the Texans to make the playoffs just like its impossible the Titans will ever win a super bowl.

We are all watching from our couches, and we both have a clean slate and the same amount of wins heading into next year. But again, since we cant make the playoffs and you cant ever win a super bowl.... then why even play the game right?

I wish the Texans would go and win the AFC South just once so I wouldn't have to read these petty little smacks... The Texans should go do something of note. They make it sound like it's impossible to build a team up in 6 seasons when the fact is the Titans were every bit as poor as the Texans if not worse in 2004 and 2005 but have done their best to cultivate available talent, nurse the team back up to a .500 club, make the playoffs the following year and then improve on that by not only winning the division but putting up the best record in the league...

    my question is this...
if the Titans can so dramatically alter their fortunes from 2004 to the present day why can't the Texans? I really wish the Texans would have some moderate amount of success to take pride in so I wouldn't have to wade through all this jealous hate. I'm really not all that entertained. I feel sorry for them and their perennial loser of a franchise.

I don't think the Titans were "were every bit as poor as the Texans if not worse in 2004 and 2005". Although the two teams had the same amount of wins combined over that duration (2004 and 2005) - the biggest difference was this: Fisher> Capers. Fisher was re-loading. Capers was imploding.

I can answer that easily Bipolar. 3 main issues.
    a) Charley Casserly
    b) Dom Capers
    c) David Carr

All three of them were here during and after the 2004 season. The first two were gone after a 2-14 season. The third one was gone one season after Rick Smith and Kubiak took over and a 6-10 season. Since the departure of Carr, the Texans have had consecutive 8-8 seasons.

still, if the Texans would only have a moderate amount of measurable success their fans wouldn't focus on the Titans rather they would be celebrating their own team. I'd rather be happy for the Texans fans should the team be successful than have the team I like chronically attacked and hated on for being superior.

Our hate for the Titans "may" die when Dud dies.... I know most of y'all don't get that, but that's what it is.

you team isn't going to go anywhere until you absolve yourself of that hate. That hate is holding your team back. So, if you enjoy where you have been and have no problem with where you are then by all means, continue. Nothing will change for the Texans fans until the Texans fans change.
    1 people high five this.

I believe it. Maybe 5 or 6 more years of Texan mediocrity will convince you.
