    Fans will be fans. It's the nature of the beast.

    Think about this like your stance on CJ. Are we to forget the first few horrible games and now call him the long-term answer at RB? Based on the last few games, maybe. But I think it important to look at the entire season as a whole.

    Same deal for Munch & Co. If they've turned this thing around and do well in these final six games, I think you evaluate based on the entire two seasons.

    I still want Palmer gone.

    I was never as hard on Gray as I have been on Palmer. We don't have much of a pass rush, Our safety situation is abysmal, and McCarthy has been banged up. Facing 4 of the top teams in the first 5 weeks will tear you apart as well.

    I am not sold on him, but he is continuing to show improvement. If he keeps it up, I would not mind seeing him back.

    Unless the Texans have locked up home field advantage and give us the game like last year, there is no way we are beating them. It's not up to us to win that game. Whatever the Texans want to happen will happen. Same with Green Bay.

    I am more than confident the Texans will have home field advantage locked up by then. We still play them fairly early so I doubt they rest anybody.

    Thats basically my reasoning. Linebacker is the only spot worth talking about and thats with 2 two year guys and a rookie, and one has been out for over a month.
